From MT Office of Rural Health:

We are in the midst of an unprecedented time for RHCs.  As you likely know, HRSA has funded a number of COVID 19 programs specific to RHCs.  As an RHC, you are SPECIAL! You’re the backbone of the rural healthcare system. Really, the backbone of the healthcare system, the cornerstone to what all other services are built on.  NOW, is an historic opportunity to engage with HRSA, to solidify the importance of RHCs, as the cornerstone of the safety net and rural healthcare system.  Value based care is a hot topic these days but really rural health has been providing patient centric, high quality services forever.  The WHY you do what you do every day is to help your patients, neighbors and communities become more well.  It is time to accurately tell the story of the service you provide and demonstrate the VALUE of what you do.

To that end, I want to make sure you are aware of the Rural Health Clinic Vaccine Confidence (RHCVC) Program funding opportunity.   As you know, RHCs have not been the target of funding in the past, so we want to communicate how important this opportunity is.  This is an historic opportunity to engage with HRSA – to solidify the importance of RHCs as the cornerstone of the safety net and rural healthcare system. Not to mention, RHCs have the potential of receiving $50,000 to $200,000 per RHC to increase vaccine confidence.  This is not just for increasing COVID19 confidence, but all vaccines (childhood immunizations, flu and pneumovax). We highly encourage you to apply.

We have attempted to make this as easy as possible for you.  [Provided here] are all of the documents from the NOSORH Rural Health Clinic Vaccine Confidence (RHCVC) Program funding opportunity webinar that was held June 14th.  It provides samples of the required documents and steps you through each of the forms.  I hope this will assist you with your application.  If you have questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out.
